Silicon Carbide fractures with minimum pressure and heat, this
produces a consistent fine sanded floor.
Sand Screens are used in the final phase of floor sanding by removing raised grain and cleaning
up the picture frame effect left by belt or drum sanders and edgers.
Sanding Screens stay sharp until the mineral is completely utilized.
The SIC mineral is graded closely and bonded on both sides of the mesh to ensure consistency with no clogged screen holes.
wet or dry with speeds from 178-330 rpm.
Recommend using with a FinishRite pad. Screens cut flatter and more aggressively when
driven with a FinishRite pad.
80 and 100 Grit Screens are used on raw wood before staining to blend the edges to the field.
150, 180 Grit Screens are used between finish coats and when the finest scratches must be removed.
150 and 220 Grits Screensmay also be used between coats on solvent based poly and on water-based finishes.
